When I view system information under help on Steam it says I only have
RAM: 2047 Mb

Yet I have 3 Gigs of ram and it clearly states it under system properties

How much RAM is detected when you right click My Computer then click Properties?

When I clicked the link to download Avast! went crazy and said it detected a Trojan

It is a known false positive.

You can ignore your AV in this case.

Ok do you want me to copy and paste everything or just the

That is all I wanted to see.

So I don't know... My Steam properties are correct. I never even knew they were there until you brought it up.

If I come across anything I will let you know. I doubt that there will be any major issues. 2 GB RAM is quite sufficient but I know it is annoying to have a discrepancy.

Will look at some Steam forums.

I have signed up on the steam forums yet it tells me I have to wait until the admin activates my account and it has been awhile since I signed up.

I signed up on the Steam forums 3 days ago and they still have not activated my account so I am unable to post on there. Did they activate your account jephree? I activated my email address but I have to wait for an admin to activate the account which sucks.
