Hi,

I'm trying to run the game "The Ship" on my Intel Mac running Cossover Mac6.0. I have created a version that does not run through Steam, so it can opperate faster. My problem is that when I try to run the Ship.exe file, I get a prompt to install DirectX 9.0c. The install says there is a cabinet file error, and freezes the install. Now, I have tested other games ot this computer and Counter-Strike: Source and Half-Life 2 work fine (steam and non-steam).

So, is there a DirectX 9.0c patch for mac and/or crossover? Do I need to run "The Ship" through Steam?
