I need help!!!! please help me!!!!

My computer have been encountering a big problem playing games...games like Age of Empire 3, RCT3 and sometimes Frozen Throne. Its like this...i'm playing the game lagless, the game runs smooth. Then all of a sudden it hangs there, the screen freeze & then CPU sound continues, musics stop. It happens almost everytime i play Age of Empire 3 and RCT3. I started recently, like 1 month ago...and my computer has 1GB RAM and duo core processor and only 4 months old which satisfied the requirement of those games. If anyone have any way of fixing it please tell me..PLEASE thx

What is the make and model of your graphics card? Do you have the latest drivers for it?

Any idea what your temperatures are?

    50 degrees for the CPU?

    Idle or under load?

You might want to reload your drivers. Couldn't hurt:

    http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

    Driver Installation Hints

"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.

Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.

Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.

Idle means like doing nothing. That is what your BIOS temp is. So 50C at idle.

For a conventional CPU that is quite warm. For a multi-core it might be more "normal".

    Try SpeedFan.

    What did Speed Fan show?

Your symptoms are generally attributed to heat. This could be an overheating CPU or an overheating GPU (graphics card). There can be other issues such as graphics drivers and occasionally BIOS updates help.

How old is your computer? Do you ever clean it inside?

As to your specific question: "So how do i lower my CPU temperature?"

You can clean the fan. You could also clean and reapply the TIM as seen here:

You could also upgrade to a liquid cooling system.
