Actually I am seeing various versions of Dell Optiplex GX280.

I might have been wrong about the slot. Some versions have PCI_E x16 but looking again at the DAL scan it only indicates PCI_E x1

Can you ID your model here:

OK I just choose NewEgg's site as it is easy to browse and has most every card:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...CI+Express+x16

The price range is from @$40 US > @$850 US

That is the first criteria. What is your price range?

Thanks for the thanks as well!

Also here is Dell's guide on installation:

    I'm in the $100-$150 range.

I'm thinking about getting a GeForce series 7, because series 8 came out so series 7 is way cheaper. Well that's about all I know about graphics cards XD

so one last question-What should I look for in a decent graphics card?(remember I need them to be sorta cheap)

    Here is NewEgg between $100 & $200

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...24100+-+%24200

    8 Pages.

Look through some and read the reviews. See if anything stands out to you.

When I get time I will look through the list as well.
