well im am very bad with computers..well actualy i dont really know anything.
i used to play full screen games all the time until there was a power outage in my neighborhood. My PC was messed up and we had to get some things fixed. well now that my computer is working just fine, i cant play these games that i used to. ive been researching some similar problems online and people tell me that i need to get direct x again so i did and it didnt help. and the game reports that it cant find proper screen mode 3d. so ive narrowed it down to 2 possibilities...

1. i just wont be able to play anymore
2. i need to get drivers for my video card or something.

.....for # 2.. ive been looking on the internet and it says i go to "run" then type "dxdiag"
then ill see what kind of video card i have. but i go to display and under manufacturer it says n/a.

can someone plz help me?

Begin by reading the following section of This Guide.

I just quote the preliminaries. Scroll down the page for information of detecting your hardware and locating the proper drivers.

This section would be helpful to you if:

--> you have reinstalled Windows recently on your computer;
--> you have never played MS on your computer before;
--> you are trying to run MS in a virtual machine (jump to [3.1.1.6] now);

This section does not apply to you if:

--> MS worked on your computer before but you have not reinstalled Windows between now and the previous time it worked;
--> MS worked on your computer before but due to a patch or a GameGuard update, it no longer works;

If the last two applies to you, I suggest you do some universal fixes right now: reboot, reinstall the client, redownload and reinstall the client, system restore to an earlier point where it does work, and/or email Wizet (but make sure you mention that MS worked previous to a patch or whatever event that made it not work). It also wouldn't hurt to try these sections, but you will have a lesser chance of getting it to work compared to the people these sections are written for.

You need to ID your graphics card and load its drivers.

ive tried to identify it but it says n/a

its just the one that built in on the motherboard i guess. is there any ways to fix this problem?

Use the Everest tool described in the guide and ID the motherboard if there is no card.

The motherboard manufacturer will have the drivers.
