Hey...again,

Okay, I'm about ready to throw my computer out the window, and I'm not kidding. I struck a problem a few weeks ago, where my computer wouldn't turn on or stay on. Finally out of a stroke of luck, I got it to work. Problem is, now it's UBER SLOW!!! I had almost all of the Sims 2 Expansion packs on my computer (Main Game, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Glamour Life Stuff) it used to run them all just fine...but now I'm experiencing massive lagging, and skipping. I want to get more Ramm into my computer, since I'm sure that's the problem, but I'm afraid it might be something else. Help me out...please. ;_;

how much ram do you have now .... with all those games u might need a better video card because ur old video card cant support it and also u might need more space on ur hard drive ... how much GB do you have ?

My Ramm right now is only at 256, my video card is pretty old, it's a nVidia
G-Force MX 4000 and it runs at 128 MB. This computer is old too so it comes with only a 10 GB hardrive for the main drive, and 20 GB for the secondary drive. Sad ain't it?

k well you are gonna need a better video card thats what is laggin you so mabey like a 512mb video card then you should get 512mb ram or 1gb and the hard drive is fine but since youre computer is old it may not like the new sims system

Okay things are starting to make sense now. I just want my computer fixed, and hope that I can avoid having to get a new one. I'm planning to take it up to Geek Squad and have them do what needs to be done. I appreciate the help braden128!
