Im at my friends trying to play MS, and everytime I run it this pops-up:

The dynamic link library dinput8.dll could not be found inthe specified path.


Im not going to type the rest unless if I need to. I wont type the rest is because its TOO LONG. Help me out?

This error message applies to Windows 95/98/98SE/ME/NT4/2k systems, as they do not come with DirectX 8 by default. Please download and install the latest version from Microsoft.

I downloaded Directx 9 or something like that. When I went to sleepywood link, it says page cant be displsyed

DirectX 9.0c is the latest for XP.

If it is loaded it will show via start Run... dxdiag

Here also under Display you will see your 3D status.


Also perhaps try the link again. Works for me. It is a very thorough Maple Story FAQ and troubleshooter.
