Hey could some one please help me i cant play maple story. Gr2D_DX8: Directx8.1 not found. This error keeps on coming up when i load the game. Could some one please help?

This assumes that your graphics device is capable of running at least DirectX8.1

but i have already downloaded the latest direct x from Microsoft.

What is the DirectX version?

If it is 8.1 or higher then the next step would be to reinstall your graphics drivers.

The Direct x Version is 9.0c(4.09.0000.0904). It is higher so how do i reinstall my graphics driver?

In dxdiag what is the Device under the Display tab?

Also under the Display tab are the 3D options enabled or not?

Did Maple Story ever run on this computer?

That is an onboard graphics controller. In other words you do not have an independent graphics card. Thus I doubt that Maple Story will play off that chip. You need an AGP or PCI_E graphics card most likely.

but it use to play until they upgraded the sever.

Perhaps their upgrade requires a hardware or driver upgrade.

Try loading your latest drivers for your motherboard or computer.
