Unfortunately the DirectX scan on the DAL scan does not work. It comes up blank for everyone.

To check your DirectX go to start Run... dxdiag

On the first page you will see your version.

Your main problem according to your PM is that your Graphics Card is not detected. You need to ID this card and load the drivers?

Is this a new computer? Did you just reinstall the Operating System?

You need to identify your graphics hardware.

The hardware manufacturer supplies drivers which Windows needs to use the device.

If you look in dxdiag under Display what is the Device?

If none is listed you will need to start looking inside the computer.

    Important questions:

1: Did Maple Story ever work on this computer?

2: Have you recently reinstalled the Operating System?

3: Do you know if you have a Graphics Card or is your graphics running on the motherboard?

4: What is the make and model of the computer?

    The basic answer is this:

"You need to identify your graphics hardware.

The hardware manufacturer supplies drivers which Windows needs to use the device."

If you do not know this information then we will need to try and determine it. It is not a simple process but can be done.

    Please answer all these questions:

4: What is the make and model of the computer?

Then also look where your monitor is plugged into the computer and see if it looks like the upper or lower arrow in this diagram:

Download and install this driver after following all the instructions posted below it:

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html

    Driver Installation Hints

"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.

Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.

Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.

If the above is your Graphic Device then that driver should have worked.

Product Support List Windows XP 32-bit – 93.71

    GeForce2 MX
    GeForce2 MX 100
    GeForce2 MX 200
    GeForce2 MX 400
    GeForce3
    GeForce3 Ti 200
    GeForce3 Ti 500
    GeForce4 MX 420
    GeForce4 MX 440
    GeForce4 MX 440-SE
    GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
    GeForce4 MX440SE with AGP8X
    GeForce4 MX 460

    etc.
By its' failure I would presume that the above is not your Graphics Device so we still need to ID (identify) it.

Please answer all the questions asked in post #6.
