I can't get Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 or The Sims to run on my computer. I've used these games before, months ago, and recently wanted to reinstall them. They install fine and load and everything, but just a couple minutes later they freeze. The sound works, the graphics are fine, and there's no error message- they just freeze and I have to press restart. I went on the tech support websites for each, checked to make sure my drivers are up to date, and disabled all background processes. The discs are not dirty or scratched.

ok, look at the read me first, see if it tells you anything. THen try uninstalling them, then re-install. If you've played months ago, then maybe you now have too much stuff on your computer, try and run defrag to make your harddrive process faster.
