I've had San Andreas for a long time and recently it started doing weird things sometimes it would load sometimes it wouldn't.

I thought it might have been my Windows install because I made a slipstreamed xp sp2 disc but took out a lot of stuff I didn't want and added some things and then when I installed new programs I would get another message sometimes like this: http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/7...unter13wt0.png

And since the Xp install was old I decided to do a full new install and Create a new xp sp2 disc. So I installed it and everything works and worked great after that I've been playing GTA SA for a week or so now since the install and had no problems.

which is the same message I got before.

The only thing I can think of is that I recently did a system restore and this could have affected it but I don't want to reinstall the game.

Any thoughts?
