okay weve made some progress... i got a display driver that works but... yes "but"... when maplestory starts up it is just a blank screen and the little green light on the front of the monitor turns yellow like it does when the computer is off... i can hold Alt+Tab and the light will light up again and it will be the desktop but whenever i go back into the program its just a blank screen again... i have left it with this blank screen for about maybe half an hour but nothing changes... so it looks like i just need more help now

You most likely need to add a graphics card to play Maple Story as well as any other "high-end" games.

You can get the cheapest PCI_E cards starting around $100 USD and then up to a thousand for the best.
