Re: Help on Gr2D Error (MapleSea, MapleStory)

Yes, MapleStory used to work on this computer, and it was quite some time ago. If I remember it correctly, it had been working fine until the 8th of August this year (2006). Because on that date, the game underwent a patch/update. Since then, whenever I try to launch MapleStory, the error "Failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D" will appear.

Erm, I see 2 NVIDIA softwares:

    1) NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder

    2) NVIDIA Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP Stereo Drivers

    I've removed (2). Should I remove (1) as well?

Also, when I was removing (2), an error popped up, saying:

    Error Determining Display Type
Unable to determine if this is an NVIDIA video card. Some functions may not operate properly.

But I think it's been removed.

I've just started downloading from the NVIDIA website you've given me. I'll give you updates as soon as I can. Thanks for helping Mod jephree.

I've downloaded it, but I cant install it. When I tried to install, this error occurred:

    NVIDIA Setup Error
The NVIDIA Setup program could locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.

I guess my problem cant be solved..can it?

What is the make and model of your graphics card?

Look in the Device Manager under Display adapters.

Right click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager.

The manufacturer will have drivers on their web site.
