hello, I am having a problem with a free mmorpg i have played for a few years now. Installing was always a breeze till recently I had to reformat my pc due to countless viruses (no virus scanner at the time i bought mcafee this week)

Anyways. when I install the game atfer the extracting stage I get a quick popup that says

"The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run had been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity, and try again."

I have Re-installed/re-downloaded used GetFile to download the game setup, used IE and firefox... still no luck installing.

Is this the version you are trying to install:

If the problem persists you might try turning off McAfee during the download.

Also turn off any download managers (if you have any).

I use global maple..sorry i didn't say that in there.

I un-installed all scanners and firewalls and re-downloaded. im still having this problem

I just ran the .rar files i get this error in the extracting.

CRC errors during a download could indicate a bad download and or conflicts with a previous download.

Run a Search for Maple (Story) and delete all files and try to download again.

If you search only for Maple please verify that the files are indeed from Maple Story before deleting.

Also you might try another download site after this.

I got it working. i had a friend download the setup/burn it to cd for me. No clue why my system didn't allow me to download it..
