Hi everyone,
I play Gunz: The Duel. It's an alternative online multiplayer shooting game. My problem is that I would like to play against my sister who plays the game also. We live in the same house and she plays on the computer in the living room, and I play on my laptop in my room. Both computers are connected via wireless internet. Well when we start the game I can see her in the game status. The problem is she has a ping of 999 which results in me seeing her as inactive. It's the same for her. She sees me and I have a 999 ping and I look inactive. I'm not sure what could be the problem. I think it could be an ip address problem? Though I changed our ip numbers mine ending in 100 and hers in 105. Though it could also be the internal IP which is at a fix number I believe.
Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated. Any information that could be helpful I will glady supply.

*Also I've played Age of Empires II with her and we could play that game. Though, I had to switch my wireless connection to ad-hoc so she could play with me.

would it be possible if you could A) set up a network for the internet (better than wireless imo, my bros and i have 3 comsp al on internet and we play WoW together) or B) play 1v1 LAN ?
