Hello all,

i ahve recently downloaded Steam from Valve. The only problem is that i cannot sign in. An error message pops up saying;

Cannot connect to the Steam Network.
This could be due to a problem withyour internet connection, or with the steam network. Pleae visit the Steam Nework for more information.

I run on a wireless connection of 54 mb per second. The wireless router is a Linksys wireless G model WRT546. Any help will be appreciated. I have checked up on my firewall and nothing is blocking it.

MY VERSION OF WINDOWS IS SP2

Its been doing that today to me too. That is probably not your problem. The steam servers are down and i have had steam running prefectly for a year now so i know its them.

And i Have all the windows upgrades (SP2).
but tbh i also have a Router but its not wireless.

I have looked at the "Answers" but its like an Idiot made that system.
