WoW is constantly crashing
ok well recently my computer has imploded (no not really... =.=) and im using my dads temperarily. for many years now however it has not liked my games, such as diablo (cant remember any others...) and now World of Warcraft. It Blue Screens randomly wen i play them. i currently believe that it is a hardware error myself but would like a second opinion.
the error that comes up for WoW is an access violation (ill give the details of it later once it happens again), or it will completely freeze and the audio will stutter, or it will just blue screen.
I have tried re-installing it but it hasent worked.
please help me.......

As far as hardware your Graphics card appears to be fine for these games.
Your RAM is at the low end or bare minimum for WoW. 1Gb or another 512Mb stick would help. If you do this make sure to get compatable RAM. Here is a good scan for that:
http://www.crucial.com/store/listmfgr.asp?cat=RAM
-
yeah WoW generally requires ur graphics cards to be up-to-date, as well as at least 768 ram needed (216+512), try playing WoW and turning the graphics RIGHT down ingame. Also please go to ur wow directory and move/delete the folders WTB, WTF and INTERFACE.
hope this helps.
~fellow WoW player, servers: Smolderthorn, Dalvengyr, Jubei-thos, Perendole.
-
Also, if you cant find the folder 'WTB' go to your wow directory, double click the folder 'cache' and make a folder called 'WTB' and restart WoW

What PSU do you have, make/model and its power rating in Watts?
