It`s not possible. If I delete the folder, as soon as I run the game it downloads everything necesary to get GameGuard working. Trying to get the game to work without the latest GameGuard updates would be considered hacking anyway, actually it would be hacking.

I`m not worrying too much about these, right now. I will once there is a new update and the problem persists :P It`s just a bummer that I can`t play, it`s my favorite activity when i just want to pass time

Whew... so I'm not the only one with this problem... Yeah... I went through all the possible problems...

1) Spyware/Adware
2) Graphics Card
3) Corrupt Maplestory game

I tried all 3 of those things... they didn't do anything. I was on for 10 hours straight before, then it suddenly crashed on me... I try and open it again, and it restarts my computer...

Looks like the problem`s been solved. If it still happens in someones computer, try deleting GameGuards folder and then run MapleStory again, worked for me

Thanks jephree for the link, I read a big chunk of it and found that little piece of info. This place looks neat, think i`ll stay for a while.
