Re: Why isnt my maple story working? Its saying fail to find proper screen mode for g
Is your current operating system (XP) on C: or E: ?
-
Most of my programs are installed on my E drive beacuse my C drive only has 7 GB and my E drive has 100 GB. Basically all my programs are installed on my E Drive
-
Another questoin is
how do u make sure you installed Direct X?
is there a way to check that you did?
-
DirectX = go to start Run... dxdiag The general tab will show your version.
I am thinking your drive distinction might be the problem.
Your error states Deleting on E:
Most likely you want to install these drivers on C:
If you try again do you get the option (advanced) to select your destination?

Go to start > Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs.
Remove anything listed under nVidia.
Then download this and choose SAVE:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html
Save it to the desktop or wherever just remember where you saved it.
Then go to your Device Manager = right click My Computer & then click Manage then Device Manager.
Now click the + next to Display adapters.
Right click your nVidia card and choose Update Driver...
Then choose: Install from a list or Specific location (Advanced)
Then choose: Search for the best drivers in these locations.
Then: Include this location in search.
Then hit Browse and go to your SAVED nVidia download and Enter it.

hey
wen i clik browse it cant find the set up!
should i just restore my computer?
-
Restoring the computer meaning reinstalling XP? That will just leave you in the same place. You will still need to load this nVidia driver.
The browse feature should let you choose any file. If it is Setup.exe and you saved it to the desktop browse to the desktop and make sure in the lower line that says file types that .exe is in the selection.
