I've recently bought CoD2 as a friend of mine has it and we wanting to play multiplayer over the net.

Problem I have is that I cannot get my pc to connect to the server. Game plays fine in single player but just hangs when 'attempting to contact the master server'. I've looked up the problem on the Activision site and they say to knock off all firewalls.

I've knocked off my windows firewall and norton firewall but still have the same problem. I use toucan as my ISP.

Am I missing anything? Does anyone know if toucan have a firewall I'm not aware of.

Any suggestion would be appreciated as I'm starting to tear my hair out.
