My boss recently purchased Axis and Allies. He hasn't installed it yet. He was travelling for work and he took the manual with him to read during some of the boring meetings he was going to. Unfortunately, when he checked out of the motel, he left the manual there. Even more unfortunately, the code for the install is located in the book. He says that Atari has been of absolutely no help to him; nobody really knows who to talk to. Is there a way to determine the code from the CD so that he can install it?

CD's are generic. The code is only on the package. I'm surprised that it would even be in the manual. Usually it is just on the box. If he has the receipt he might try to get a new key via proof of purchase.
