hi guys im hoping someone can help me with my little problem as waiting for atari to get back to me is taking me to my highest stress levels putting it politley.
On installing tycoon city and opting to play the game a message flashes on screen and says "the last time the game was played it was not shut down correctly" and suggests that a play in safe mode?? anyway on agreeing to this it does not seem to get me anywhere?? ive tried all the options i can caome up with but to no avail please help me before i go into smash the pc mode ha ha cheers shell

Not much help but there were a couple of references to a patch, have you got that patch? Also how much RAM have you got int he PC? if your not sure run our hardware scan which will tell you http://www.d-a-l.com/hardware-scan.php

I haven't got the game but also is there an option not to start in safe mode, even though it suggests you do?

hey hon downloaded that upgrade thingy from the link you gave me but to no avail i now have it on my desk top its some sort of euro upgrade..if that makes sense?? im really getting depressed now come on make my day give me another clue and i swear if i win the lottery tomorrow i promise to give a large donation to the forum and yourself now come on you cant resist that offer remember that film with the cop and the waitress stuff like that does happen ya know xxx

same game, but different problem i had
i even can't get the game installed
every time i try to execute the setup file, an error msg appears

i didnt any run any programs
my temp folder was empty
n my internet connection was off too....

can any budy help me??

This InstallShield error indicates a corrupt verison of InstallShield is installed on your computer. To correct this issue, simply delete the following folder from your computer and attempt to run the installer again:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\0701
