I don't know if anyone of the moderators bought this game, but it simply does not run as it's meant to on my pc. Nor, it seems, on many people's. Some with very high spec. pcs can't get the framerate normal. That's the problem, see, the framerate is apalling. It's about, and no exaggeration here, a frame per 5 seconds when an archer starts firing or a tree actually sways in the wind. The game crashes during online multiplayer and, when asking the company that made it for advice I was told to download the patches, which did nothing, and to stop all programs that were running (including such things as Norton) and then try playing it. Nothing seems to make any difference. I can only think a super-computer is needed to make the damn thing work. If anyone here has an amazing beast of a computer, please try stronghold 2 on it. I'd bet you good money that you system wouldn't be able to hack it, just like mine. I don't know what they were thinking when they made that game. And on what type of incredible computer did they test it on? Well, I'd be interested to see what you suggest and how any top of the range pc takes the wrath of the never working game

In order to help you most effectively with any PC related questions we need you to attach your DxDiag and MSinfo when contacting us via email.
Here are instructions on how to do this.
To create the DxDiag.txt and MSinfo.txt, please do the following:
1.) Run DXDIAG.EXE from your Start menu (click Start, Run..., then type "dxdiag" and hit Enter)
2.) Click the "Save all Information" button, located at the bottom of the program window
3.) Save the file as "dxdiag.txt"
4.) Click the "More Help" tab
5.) Click the button marked "MSinfo..."
6.) Click on the "File" menu and choose "Export" (Do not use "save")
7.) Then save the file as a Text Document and name it "MSinfo.txt"
8.) If possible, please put these files in a .zip format and attach them to your email. (When inside of your email program there is usually a "Paperclip" button or icon which is the attachment option.)
Be sure to include a detailed description of the problem you are having and the text of any detailed error messages that appear.
It will also help us if you can send a screenshot of the error message along with the both text files.
Yeah, I've tried that before I think. Thanks for looking into it anyway. Maybe I'll leave it for another 5 years when computers have moved on a bit and try it on a new pc then. Thanks again for the help.
