Hello

I have a serious problem when i try to play my games, whenever i try to play my games, i get this werid noise from my headphones and i get a blackscreen.

My father is a pc expert, and he also, is completly baffled. I have looked in my event log and i have a few eroors, but they were all the day before it was crashing.
and i have looked in the dxxdiag thing.

I have also just brought a new network card, 108mps.

Now im just a kid, 14 to be precise, so i dont know ALL my system specs, i ll tell you the ones i know thought.

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK before the new Network card?

Is this problem only on high end (graphic intensive) games?

When the screen goes black do you need to power off the computer or what happens?

Well, My father had the comp before, without my network card, and yes, things were fine..

And when the screen go's black, and i get this werid noise, yes the whole computer frezzes, so i need to turn it off (by swich on comp) and turn it back on. and yes they are graphicly intense but my comp can handle it, my father and bigger games on it before like Quake 4 and doom 3

So, any ideas?

As a test I would remove the Network Card and any software/drivers that you installed with it.

See if this changes anything.

Also view your Error Log via:
