Hello everyone,

I had a question about a recent purchase I've made. The Sims 2. I will get straight to the point. Essentially, I am able to Install the first 2 discs fine, but when I get to the 3rd disc, I get an error that says something about "globalcatbin.bundle.package" cant be transferred or some such. I have tried multiple solutions from multiple sites, including copying the files from the CD's to folders and installing from there, but I cant even transfer this file from the Disc 3 to the folder to do this. If anyone has a solution, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I was poking around the past few pages and found this:

"The game is on cd's that you downloaded? Sounds like the 3rd one is corrupt, data is unreadable on it. You could try redownloading it." -Tassie Devil

I too didnt download it, but I did look at this file, and I cant even unzip it, anything with it. I think it is corrupt and I feel the only solution for this may be to bring it back to the store for a refund/swap.

Aha! IT worked!!

Thank you very much. The copying the CD's to folders and then installing it from there worked. ^^v! Awesome.
