Exclamation DOS Games and Windows XP.....Help!!!!

I'm trying to run an old DOS game and I'm obviously having troubles.
Now, I am running XP on an old HP Vectra P3 500mhz, with matrox graphics and Chrystal Soundfusion drivers.

What's actually happening is when i can get the game to run the video is running way to fast and the audio is either not there or totally out of sinc (eg: it play the previous scenes audio). When I install the game the audio driver is done in 2 parts (sound & music) and the game will only run if I install the first half and not the second.

Now I'm not to sure what else to put in here but, if anyone thinks that they maybe able to help feel free and if you wnat more info just ask. Thanks heaps.

The game is called "Return To Zork". It was put out by "Infocom" back in 1993.

I often get most of my free dos games here and they have some great programs for slowing them down.

The game runs way too fast! How can I slow it down?

Many of these games were designed for 386 or older systems, and will run to fast as to be unplayable on new computers. Therefore, you need a slowdown program such as Moslo, Turbo, Bremze, PITSET, or Speedset first to slow these oldies down. Make sure you read the instructions in each program on how to adjust speed manually, since the default speed setting may be too fast or too slow for your computer.

The Underdogs recommend Speedset because it not only slows down programs, but also speeds them up

Thanks for the help on that, now I can get rid of my old p1. Since I have only been keeping it so I could still play my old games.
