Where can I find this list?

Here, Intel says that this chipset can't support it. Here.

    Edit:

Since you can't change your graphics card (it's integrated), I suggest taking back the game and getting something that's compatible to your computer...

They also have a list of games that do work, in their website... check some of them out. I've been playing Vice City and Warcraft III and it's not so bad...

The error indicates either your graphics card and or it's driver is not capable of running this software.

    Try this scan:

    hello,

hope somebody's still reading this thread, cause i made an account especially to [try and] help in here xD.
so, i am running vista ultimate and the game gave me the same error message with 3d hardware not detected bla bla bla. apparently the cause is the resolution. i got to that conclusion by reading the d3d.txt document in the wolverine's revenge folder, not from the link posted from the activision forum [i think] that said to change the screen resolution. i tried playing with the settings a bit before and saw there was a resolution setting that could be modified. then i read the d3d.txt and saw that the error was something like "bad display resolution. aborting game." so i went to the wolvie config file, and set the resolution to 800x600. didn't work. so then i thought that vista so all-kewl and brand new-ish, maybe it doesn't like old stuff ). so i set the resolution to 1024x768 this time. there are 2 lines that say screen width and length or smth. and voila ... game xD.

long story short: go to the wolvie config file, look for the screen length and screen width lines [near the end] and change them to 1024x768 and play.

hope this helps, it worked for me . and sry for the way of phrasing but i'm sleepy xD. cyaz.

i found a way to solve ur prob...
    use 3d analyse(google it)
Once you have gotten 3d analyse, select the "wolvie.exe" file from the wolverines revenge folder and use the following seup:
    force Sw TnL
    force anisotropic filtering
    force high precision pixel shader

*Use The Nvidia GeForceFX 5900 Ultra

    Cheers....

In Case Of Any Problems feel free to contact me
