Well, hello again, got my JRE loaded on the weekend, went trawling through their website, found a game called Radical Aces. It's a flying/shooting/get the aliens game, I like the look of it, but it doesn't download as a program so far as I can see. Can anyone recommend anything similar which is commercially available? To run on a desktop with Win XP and Media Player.

It does not download per se but runs online.

Since the first post I've discovered a site that offers RA as a free download. Maybe I'm just growing overly suspicious in my old age but How Do These People Pay Their Bills? My first reaction when I'm offered something for nothing is that I'm about to be scammed.
A work colleague says that making money on the Internet works thus:

1: Product
2: ?????????
3: Profit!

Which is as good an explanation as anything else, I suppose. I'll probably take my chances with the site too.

Had to come back here and brag that I destroyed my first alien tank last night. It wasn't a cheap victory either - I've wiped out more than a dozen of my own planes. If I'm humanity's last hope, say hello to extinction.
