I purchased a copy of this game and installed it on my PC.All went well.The installayion was successfull.But when i ran the game, the introduction screen 'EA Sports' was missing and also the small video cilp that plays before the main menu loads also didnt appear.Once the main menu arrives, the game crashes to the desktop.What can be the problem?Can anyone please help me?

Intel Celeron 750 MHz.
128 MB Ram
10 GB Hard Disk Drive

I have DirectX 8.1
The game requires DirectX 8.0
There is a self checking program in the game folder which states the game requirements and all of them are fullfilled.So could there be any other reason?

Have you tried simply removing the game through the uninstall procedure and then reinstalling making usre you run a full installation?

Oh yes i did that 2-3 times.I also converted my hard disk from FAT 16 to FAT 32 and tried to run the game.But in vain.
Can the problem be related to any virus bcoz i dont have any anti virus software in my system.

Its always worth scanning for viruses so make sure you do that, there are a few online scanners you can run. What screen resolution is the PC running?
