    GTA San Andreas

Hey, whenever I play GTA: SA my computer will randomly restart itself, it would do it at the gym before, but now it happens on the mission "Drive-by' every time without fail, and when my computer has finished booting itself up it says that Windows just recovered from a "Serious Error"

I know when I sent the error report it said something about drivers but I couldn't figure that out, any suggestions?

    Thanks for your help

are you overclocking your pc at all? and are you getting any Blue screens?

    overclocking yes, blue screens no

its stopped doing that now, instead it just tells me theres an error with my ATI card and tells me to call them. it doesn't restart the computer it just locks the game up then makes my desktop go back to 800x600 resolution

does your ati card have proper power going to it? and is the fan spinning or clogged up with hair/dust?

try uninstalling your drivers, use DH Driver Cleaner Pro to remove any trace of your old ati drivers, download the newest certified drivers thru ati and install them.
