I have installed the 2002 version of the cricket by EA sports.
It didn't give any problem while installation.
Moreover the game is OK until the the stadiaum appers on the screen i.e. as soon as the game is started all the graphics goes off and all I see white screen and some shadows of players.
I have Directrix 8.0a as required by the game.

Your graphics card may not be very powerful.Try changing the graphics options in the options menu.Keep the shadows to simple and try running the game again.
