You need to ID that board. Try this scan:

    http://www.lavalys.com/products/over...ng=en&pageid=1

You now have on-board VGA. Most likely you need to install a graphics card.

From the DAL scan you do not have a AGP slot so you will be limited to a PCI card.

This page pretty much covers that board:

Most cards are AGP but most manufacturers still manufacture PCI cards.

Just make certain that the card is PCI before purchase. And do not confuse PCI with PCI express. They are two entirely different creatures.

ok another question i notice that when i go to bios and change shared memory from 64 to 32 16 8 etc my video card either gains memory or loses. does this affect the speed of my pc also wat would u recommend i leave it as? as well as when i check my ram it reduces also by the shared number?. also does the quality of picture improve, as some games for example that i isntalled using 64mb shared dont work when i change it to32 eg nfshp2. any ideas >??

    wootan,

That Everest info shows that you do have an AGP slot:

Expansion Slots 2 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 AMR

Incase you decide to upgrade. Just verify compatibility with this site:
    http://radel.inet.net.nz/m810lmr.html

Onboard video chips will use/share the mainboard RAM.

As to your setting the share I can only suggest trial & error. If playing games is what you are doing I would give the Grapics as much RAM as possible.

Most games have listed minimum requirements for RAM.
