After installing Doom 3, I tried starting the game up. The menu came up, asking if you want to Play, Uninstall, Extras, etc. When I clicked on Play, the menu disappeared, and the artwork from the cover of the box appeared for about 10 seconds, then it disappeared. The game never started up. I waited for hours, but the game never loaded. When I shut the computer down, it asks me do I want to End the Doom 3 program! I have no idea what to do. My computer was carefully chosen to meet all the requirements to play Doom 3 and I have the video card required, too. Can any one help?

It maybe that you have a pirated copy of that game and would be requiring a crack.If thats the case, then we cannot help in here.
