I purchased a copy of this game and installed it on my PC.All went well.The installayion was successfull.But when i ran the game, the introduction screen 'EA Sports' was missing and also the small video cilp that plays before the main menu loads also didnt appear.Once the main menu arrives, the game crashes to the desktop.What can be the problem?Can anyone please help me?

My system config is:
P-3, 128 mb ram
intel (R) 82810E graphics controller
intel(R) 828011A AC' 97 audio controller.

I know that i might need to upgrade my video card also perhaps the sound card, plz let me know is it essential to upgrade both of them or only one of them or there might be some other way out by downlaoding some drivers from the internet

yes i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and it works perfectly fine on my laptop but not on my desktop

whatabout RAM? does it say anything about minimum RAM requirements?
do you have the latest graphics driver for your graphics card?
what is the make + model of your graphics card?
if you have onboard graphics, what is the make and model of your pc?

and download the driver, restart computer and see if it works

yes the minimum ram requirements is 64 mb mine's 128 mb.
yes it's am onboard graphics card, and i have an assembled computer, with vintron's motherboard, and updating the latest drivers did not work

These are the min. requirements that I see:

1-4 players with 2 player co-operative mode

Which probably means that your graphics is insufficient.

Try looking under: Start/Run/ dxdiag | Display

Do you have 3D Accelleration? etc.

No i donot have 3d accelration, but i have installed the open gl drivers that should actually sort the problem, but somehow even after downloading them i face the same problem, I remember downlaoding the drivers for quake-3 and it worked then, i thought i could get away with this one also, and i have looked under dxdiag both the tests that is the test direct draw and test direct 3d have passed. plz help... let me know if there is an alternate available so that the game can run without updating the graphics card.
