Hi,

I just got a new video card for my PC, a ATI Radeon 9800SE 256MB (Peak),
well i installed it and got it full working (With softmod) but when ever i play a game like after 5 min the computer restarts or crashs, ive ise different drivers and all, what could this be?

i could it be a heat or power problem?

Sounds like heat.

Could be power supply or Graphics Card or CPU ...

Are you sure that the card is compatible with the motherboard?

Are you sure that you have enough power?

Are you sure that you have enough air flow in the case?

Try running with the case open just to see.

Do you have heat sensors?

Do you get any error messages?

If you have XP then change this setting:
rt. click My Computer then click Properties then Advanced then Startup and Recovery Settings then unclick Automatically restart

The next shutdown should show errors.

i think its heat, i checked it and it got over 45o, what is pretty hot

Is the Vid Card showing 45°C?
Actually 45°C is not too bad.

Have you had any error messages?
