I have a pentium 4 with a leadtek 256mb fx 5700 vivo video card and when i load need for speed the screen starts to flash and visibility is poor. But the start of the game where you choose your car etc. is perfectly clear with no screen movement. I have adjusted my resolution to 1024X728 with 60hrtz as i have a viewsonic LCD screen. please help

Is 3d enabled & passing the tests?

Is this your only problem? Is your graphics OK otherwise?

jephree i did the 3d test and the graphics were clear but still have the same problem. any other suggestions that might help

Do you know if you have the latest drivers for your card?

Were you ever able to play this game on this computer?

jephree thanks for replying this is the only game ive loaded due to i only like car games. as for the latest drivers ive only installed the discs that came with the video card which ive had the computer for 18 months and where do i get the latest drivers from. Im located in Australia

jephree its stef1 i went to that site and downloaded the latest driver for the chip and the game plays perfectly and clear thank-you very much stef1
