    Problem starting up San Andreas

I have installed GTA San Andreas for PC on my computer. Yesterday it was playing fine, but today I click on the icon and it starts up, shows a black screen for a few seconds and returns to the desktops.

    Any help would be great,
    Mark

Obvious maybe, but have you done a system re-boot and tried again?

Make sure you have the latest Graphics Card drivers. Try turning down the acceleration also, and see if this helps.

Most of the problems with this game and a black screen seem to stem from 'cracked' copies, but Im assuming that your copy is legit (if its not then no support is available for you)

It is a legit copy. I will try and update my drivers. I dont understand though because it was working fine.

Fixed it - I phones Take 2 and the problem was that my computer settings had changed since last gameplay. I had to delete a file from the GTA User Files in My Documents and then load up the game again!!!
