    RollerCoaster Tycoon

    I just bought RTC3 for teh PC and it's not working.
    Here are my prefs:

    OS: WinXP
    Processor: Intel Pentium 4 1.8GHz
    RAM: 480MB
    DirectX 9.0c

    Display:::
    Device: SiS 650/651/M650/740
    Chip Type: SiS 650 Rev 00
    DAC type: Internal
    Approx Tot. Memory: 32.0MB

    Drivers:::
    Main Driver: SiSGRV.dll
    Driver Version: 6.13.0010.2040 (English)

    I think the fact that I only have 32MB (highlighted) is my problem. I am getting these messages:

    Thanks,

    It would appear that you need a graphics card; yes.

    You can try to reinstall DirectX 9:

    Hang on...I get this in the DxDiag:
    Hardware-accelerated Direct3D 9 is not available because the display driver does not support it. You may be able to get a newer driver from the hardware manufacturer.
    Does this mean that if I get a new driver that is compatible with Dx9 I can play it? Or does this mean :
    Hardware-accelerated Direct3D 9 is not available because the display driver does not support it. You're screwed

    Most likely the latter

    You can try a new driver:

    http://www.sis.com/download/

    Under IGP graphics drivers... follow the steps...

    Device: SiS 650/651/M650/740
    Chip Type: SiS 650 Rev 00

    However it is most likely that you will need to get a Graphics Card.
