well, i have battlefield 1942 original
and i updated it to play on multiplayer
so i downloaded the updates.all.
well
i can play single player perfect!
but i join any multiplayer server and when i start playing the gamecloses and then a little black screen apears with the tittle of battlefield 1942 error and then this little window closes 2.
i have a pentium 4 procesor of 3.0
nvidia gforce fx 5200 of 256
ram of 512 and everything else.
can u guys helpme plz?

Are you running a Firewall?



Also: look in your Event viewer: rt. click My Computer then click Manage then Event Viewer.
Or: Administrative Tools/Event Viewer or Start/Run/ eventvwr
Open the system as well as the application tabs & look for X errors. Click error line for details.
Post back the source & event id especially of errors that seem to coincide with a failure.

most of this events apear lots of times so i just put withput repeating.

Those errors arise between your machine & a server.

Sorry I can't be more percise at the moment.

What is your OS? XP?

its windows xp service pack 2

Are you running a firewall besides the SP2 wall?

If so is the SP2 wall disabled?

If so is the other wall configured for the game?

i checked the firewall and its disabled for bf 1942.
