hi i dont really no alot about computers but when i try to download a file it always downloads it as unknown file type some i can just click open with then say media player but i try to download games and it cant find the correct softwae to download, this has happened ever since i put the net on my comp a few days ago. and also when i play a game online multiplayer it keeps crashing, something to do with video card i think, can you help me, many thanks ben.

I can help u out on the memory issue.Right click on 'My Computer' and click 'Properties'.You will get the amount of memory u have,ur OS,Processor etc.Sorry about the other issue.

For your file types, you can right click on the file and on the menu select "Open With" and it will give you a list of programs to open the file with. Select the program you think you should use and try that out. If it works, then the next time check mark the box that says "Always use this program" and you are done.
