champ man problems
Any one give us a hand with championship manager 03/04.
Just switched computers due to major crash of old and battered machine to a dell dimension 8400 with windows xp home ed. 2.99 ghz, 512 MB RAM,
problem is i've installed championship manager 03/04 fine but now when i try and start up the game i end up with a warning stating 'Unable to locate original disc within time limit'
would not have thought my disc drive would be too slow as seems to be 16x dvd/cd rom rewriter, so must be something missing from my system,
can anyone lend a helping hand, this would be much appreciated. also jsut let me know if i've missed any information out that might help.
cheers.

Hi m8, i'm having a similar problem in trying to start the game it keeps telling me it is unable to authenticate or find the original disc which is in the drive at the time. i do notice that our CD-DVDr-RW drive is identical and wondered if you had found a resolution?
