i had the sims on the pc, then every time i tried to play it ,it would automatically go back to my desktop. removed programme and tried to re-install but keeps coming up memory full, and won't fully install, went through the programmes to delete all on the sims, but still can't install

Are you sure you have enough hard drive space? The Sims requires 300MB of free space to install plus about 100MB of free space for swap files.

Go into My Computer and right click your hard drive icon and click properties, it should tell you there. If you don't have enough space, try using disk clean-up (also by right clicking on hard drive icon) and let windows make some extra space. If still no joy you will have to un-install some of your other software / programs in order to free up the required space.

thankyou gabriel managed to free up some space, now have another problem with scan disk which i have posted another thread
