When i try to play games it works all fine but there are black falshes everywhere and this happens on all games. I have the latest version of directx and i have a Geforcefx 5200 256mb grapgic card and over a gig of ram and a 2.8 prosser. Can anybody help me because it is really annoying.

When you say 'black flashes everywhere' are they small squares which look like theres missing textures on rocks or buildings for example and appear to flash as you move around?

Are they in any particular pattern or just random,do they look as though they are on objects within the game or pinned to the screen?

Have you overclocked the card?

I bought a new card some time ago and had problems with missing textures which appeared in a vertical pattern ,turned out it was a duff card.
