    Game Not Recognizing Memory

    Hey,

    IM tryin to install a game and the damn thing isnt recognizing that i have 256 of memory so i cant install the game. and ideas here?

    Im running xp pro

    Hippy - its a demo disk from pcgamer. and only a random few say i dont have 256 and than the others do.

    I also have a problem with BF 1942 it installs but wont load.

    Spike, do you have an on-board video card? Sometimes these can eat into your base memory…if your GPU is say 64MB then your true memory will be 192MB.

    nope, im using geforce4 mx440 graphics card.

    when you right click on "my computer" and click on properties is Windows showing the correct memory ammount?

    That's really weird

    Can you use the online hardware scan and post your results please.

    While your at it you may want to find out what make/model your motherboard is and visit the manufacture's website to download and install a BIOS update, that may solve it.

    OK then download and update the flash BIOS from the following page
