I had to do a system restore and now I cant play battlefield. I tried to uninstall it in remove programs, but get a error message saying a file is missing and now I cant uninstall to reinstall it. I deleted the EA games folder in regedit, but nothing works. I read an older forum thread sent in but was sent to a dead link that had been provided that supposedly fixed the problem. Please help!

youv obviously deleted the uninstall file, you might be able to find it on the net or maybe on the battle field website, iv got battlefeild myself and il see if i can find the file for you

Hi and thanks! I was finally able to uninstall the battlefield, but when I went back to install it, it gets to 61 percent, then says a specified file in the "media" cannot be located and that setup will now exit! Have no idea what to do except post a new thread...thanks though for your suggestion.

theres probably no point making a new thread , just keep this one alive, like i said before is there any chance of a battle field help forum anyway?
