hi, im currently having a problem with windows 2000 pro, i was running windows 98 and upgraded to 2000, however this has caused some probs, for instance, my modem does not work, nor does my sound, and am finding problems all over. I am looking to get back onto 98 and hopefully everything will be back in perfect working order. how do i do this? or is there any other way of fixing the probs and keeping 2000? look forward to receiving a response as i am having to use someone elses comp and cant stand not having my p.c up and running. thanks in advance.

You probably need to update the drivers for your modem & sound. You can download Aida32 from my signature if you're not sure what model etc for those items. Post back and we can help find the best drivers. It really would be worth trying to get 2000 running as 98 is not supported with a lot of software these days.
What other probs are happening and what are the specs on your machine?
