Has any one had to deal with: file://C:\Live_Show.hta or MSINFO?
Recently my PC started launching file://C:\Live_Show.hta, which appears to be some sort of empty explorer browser, and MSINFO which is a file in which i cannot delete, upon start-up. Numerous attempts to find the source of file://C:\Live_Show.hta have failed. And even through my PC's quarantine function I cannot get rid of the MSINFO folder and windows will not allow me to delete it saying: "CANNOT DELETE MSINFO: access denied. The source file may be in use.:
Can anyone help me with this?

MSINFO is a legit file. In caps it's a Prefetch file, plus there are numerous msinfo files as well. Why it opens or shows is another question.
Examine your startup group, at msconfig / Startup, and inspect for a
checked line which loads MSINFO32 at boot.
If found, uncheck it, and reboot to Normal Mode.
As to Live_Show check out this thread from the old D-A-L Forums

Hi,
From memory I think the .hta file is a virus.
To clear it boot up in safe mode and you will find the file from windows explorer if you set view options to see hidden and system files.
Then you can delete it and remove startup command from startup group.
Please also run a virus check because even if you follow my suggestion it will probably come back on reboot.
