    Exclamation arrr this stupid printer

i just hooked up an older printer to my computer (epson stylus color 600) and it gets to the point of printing, but then nothing is printed on the pages that come out. i have done countless nozzle checks, pattern checks, and nozzle cleanings and nothing helps. pattern check prints the pattern but that is all that prints out of everything i have tried. help me pleaase. i bought new cartridges too after i was told to do so and that didnt help. when i first hooked it up i tried to print something and it printed a few lines then went blank, thats the only time it printed besides the printer pattern checks.

    pleeeeaasseeeeeeee aidez-moi!!

Hi rauschit, I had problems with my one a while back, old ink had dryed up and bloked the print head. I don't know if this is recomended, but it's what I did, and it worked.

Take the print head out of the printer and rinse it out in luke warm water, (DO NOT use any solvents, you will melt the plastic, and be gentle). Get hold of a piece of hose that fits tightly over the stubs where the cartridge go's and gently blow luke warm water down them all untill totaly clean. Before reasembly, make sure the board with all the electronic stuff on it, (PCB), is compleatly dry.

    Good luck,

    Gary.

    Hello

Its about my Canon i560 printer

Notprinting properly . I have tried all the "Deep Cleaning " in the "Maintenance" tab but the print is still streaky and the colours are not correct . I have hardly any red - Its green ! LOL

I have read some of the advice on here , but taking a printer apart is really not for me .

Does anybody have any clever way of cleaning the heads with a major overhaul .

I have searched the PC World site but found it useless

If anybody can help please email me j.mayes95@yahoo.co.uk

I am desperate as I do not want to replace my printer because of this silly thing
