i have a problem with about:blank, i have tried the spybot program with Teatimer and it did not find about:blank or at least it didn't come up in the list, what other program can i use or what else can i do to get it off the puter?

As this is not a problem with Windows ME in particular but actually an Internet Explorer / Spyware issue, you should repost your problem in the Internet Explorer > Spyware board - one of the specialists on that board will be able to help you more quickly

(not trying to be unhelpful but you'll probably find that no-one that specialises in Windows ME advice will have any idea how to help you - spyware removal is a very specialist field)
