The web site referred to is www.bootdisk.com. I've got to go out now for the afternoon but can anyone else remember how to use bootdisk.com downloads?
You cab create a set of boot disk using the Windows 2000 CD see below for instructions. HTH![]()
How To Create Setup Boot Disks for Windows 2000
Okay thanks, but is it possible to use the bootdisk web site to create the disk set, and if so what file do I download? Thanks
Dan
OK, I'm not sure whether this will work so, if it doesn't, go to a link that I followed off of www.bootdisk.com ..... which is http://www.topqualityfreeware.com/~jchojnacki
If it does work, you should be able to click on the links in the 5 boxes below.
Either way, download each of the following listed entries and unzip them into a new directory (all into the same one), then run the Makeboot.bat file that is created in that directory. If you don't have a program that can unzip ZIP files, download a trialware copy of Winzip from http://www.winzip.com.
Windows 2000 Professional Disk 1
Windows 2000 Professional Disk 2
Windows 2000 Professional Disk 3
Windows 2000 Professional Disk 4
Windows 2000 Professional Make Boot Utilities
Let us know if that helps![]()
OK, the links didn't appear in a neat table like I expected but they DO work![]()
Thanks a Million Guys, I'll try it and get back to you.
